40 years ago, in the heart of Japan, Jinza learned the intricate art of pattern design under the guidance of a Japanese design master. This unique experience is the foundation of our exceptional gown patterns.

In the 1980s, our visionary founder and designer, Jinza Jin, was one of the select few students chosen to study under a renowned Japanese haute couture designer. Her journey continued in the 1990s when she immigrated to the United States, where she embarked on a remarkable career designing exquisite evening gowns and bridal dresses. In 2002, Jinza established her eponymous brand in San Francisco, setting the stage for a legacy of bridal couture excellence.

Jinza has a deep appreciation for interior design and contemporary art.

Grace Pei, a talented designer and apprentice of Jinza, joined our flagship store in San Francisco in 2013. Her passion and creativity later led her to open the JINZA Los Angeles store in 2014. With her upbringing in the UK and a deep appreciation for British and European classic design philosophy, Grace brings a unique and sophisticated perspective to our team. Beyond her design prowess, she is a devoted mother to her beloved son and daughter, adding a touch of maternal warmth to our creative family. She is a passionate lover of hand embroidery and has honed her skills by attending classes at the prestigious Hand & Lock in London.

Together, we are a family business born from different backgrounds. Jinza and Grace have collaborated closely for over a decade. Our direct interactions with clients have fostered a profound understanding of their visions and unique narratives. The meticulous realization of each client's distinctive image for one of their most significant life moments brings us immense joy.
